Zoo Vets for Longleat Safari Park in Warminster

Wyvern Farm Vets has a long tradition of exotic veterinary experience, having carried out work for the Marquis of Bath at Longleat Safari Park since it first opened in 1966. We’ve been closely involved in its evolution into the international tourist attraction you see today.

Chris Mangham, James Ryder and Alex Roberts from our Farm Vets team are responsible for veterinary care at Longleat Safari Park. The veterinary team attends weekly to do the rounds and ensure the animals are all in good health.

Zoo Animal Vets

Chris, James and  Alex regularly work with lions, tigers, cheetahs, wolves, elephants, giraffes, zebras and other exotic animals, as well as the residents of Animal Adventure like the meerkats and koalas. Together with the keepers, we provide a comprehensive calendar of healthcare services including vaccinations, health checks and parasite protection. Safeguarding the future of some of the world’s most endangered animals is vital work and is something Wyvern Farm Vets is proud to be part of.

Below are images of some of the animals we have treated, including x-rays taken of a lion and a gorilla.
